GJERGJ KASTRIOT SKANDERBEGU

In the framework of the 550th anniversary of the death of our national hero Gjergj Kastrioti-Skënderbeu, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania approved the issuance of a series of commemorative coins with the theme "550 years in memory of Gjergj-Kastrioti Skënderbeu (1468-2018)".
The series will be issued during 2018 and will consist of three coins, with a face value of 200 Lekë in gold metal, 100 Lekë in silver metal and 50 Lekë in plain metal.
The approval for the printing of commemorative metal coins is for numismatic purposes, in 2018.
